In-Person Conference

Carolyn is a Senior Agent and Partner at Transatlantic Agency. She is also President of the Professional Association of Canadian Literary Agents and the Chair of the Toronto International Festival of Authors IV Programme. She reads widely and represents a range of upmarket commercial fiction, thillers, fantasy, literary fiction, historical fiction, investigative journalism, thought-provoking non-fiction from experts in their field, and even some children’s books. Her list is full of bestselling and award-winning authors, many of whom she found in the slush pile, and some of whom she actually met at SIWC – her author list includes but is not limited to Karma Brown, Kevin Chong, Genevieve Graham, The Right Honourable Michaelle Jean, Daniel Kalla, Tara MacLean, Darrel McLeod, Hannah Mary McKinnon, Jean Meltzer, PiperCJ, Sonya Singh, Karl Subban, Clayton Thomas-Muller, M.G. Vassanji, and Manjushree Thapa. She travels regularly to the London Bookfair, Frankfurt Bookfair and more recently the Bologna Bookfair to promote her authors works to international publishers.
