Christina Myers is a former long-time community journalist turned freelance writer and editor. She is the creator and editor of the book BIG: Stories About Life in Plus-Sized Bodies (Caitlin Press, 2020), a BC Bestseller of collected non-fiction essays from 26 writers across Canada, the US and the UK. She’s an alumnus of The Writer’s Studio at SFU, where she will be teaching a writing course starting in January 2021. She also co-hosts an ongoing reading series for writers of all genres and levels called Words in the Burbs, outside Vancouver. Her first novel is forthcoming in spring 2021.
