Megan Reid


Megan Reid is a California native who writes nonfiction for both children and adult readers. After completing her graduate studies in English Literature at The Ohio State University, she began her career in publishing at Simon and Schuster’s Touchstone and Emily Bestler Books imprints, where she worked on a list of memoirs, mysteries, speculative fiction, and women’s fiction. She then served as a senior scout for Sanford J. Greenburger Associates, consulting clients in sixteen countries on the English language publishing market. For the past three years, she’s been the Director of Literary and Development for FX Networks’ original programming team, where she evaluates books for screen adaptation and works on shows across the network’s drama, comedy, and limited series slates. She lives with her dog Luna and hates cilantro.
