Yilin Wang (she/they) is a Chinese Canadian writer, award-winning poet, literary translator, and editor. Her writing has appeared in Clarkesworld, Fantasy Magazine, The Malahat Review, The Toronto Star, Words Without Borders, CBC Books, and elsewhere, as well as won the Foster Poetry Prize, been a finalist for an Aurora Award, and been nominated for a Rhysling Award. Yilin is the a translator of various Chinese fiction, poetry, and graphic novel projects, including the Chinese poetry anthology The Lantern and the Night Moths, forthcoming with Invisible Publishing in 2024. Her translations have also appeared in POETRY, Guernica, Samovar, the anthology The Way Spring Arrives and Other Stories (TorDotCom 2022), and elsewhere. Yilin has an MFA in Creative Writing from UBC and is a graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop. She is the co-editor-in-chief of the cozy speculative fiction magazine Tales & Feathers and has been a guest editor for Strange Horizons. Website: www.yilinwang.com
